"Winter’s End" This beautiful piece is inspired by one of my favorite subjects, moving water. I gave my painting an unusual design in that the eye begins the journey at the top upper left corner, than continues to the far middle right and winds it's way back to the lower left side of foreground.
The last snow melt and warming sunlight lay as frosting on a cake to the rich dark colors underneath cascading to the viewer's minds eye. You can smell the fresh ice cold life giving waters as she makes a dance amongst her stones small and great. Lost tree limb and branches from time past now embrace early spring watershed as lovers often do.
