My second portrait of Jesus Christ. Words like,“feed my sheep!”, Wonderful, Consular, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, kept coming to my mind as I worked to portray Jesus Christ the creator of all good that has ever been or will be!

Through Christ's perfect love as we receive him our joy will become perfect!
This portrait of Jesus Christ I hope will somehow remind each of us to stay on that path He has set before us.
To paint Christ is the most daunting of all paintings. If I were like Him I think in my mind I could do a perfect portrait of Him. Yet he encourages and tells us to be perfect.“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father … in heaven is perfect.”Matthew 5:48.

However all great success must start with our best judgement and effort day by day. So here it is I hope you enjoy my effort of this portrait.
Perhaps the words from Handel’s Messiah will help in some way as it inspired me as I made this valiant effort: Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace and also the words “feed my sheep!” kept coming to my mind as I worked on this piece, my first portrait of Jesus Christ. Eventually I think we all will be able to paint a perfect Christ with in our selves through His perfect Atonement and love.
